AlienWare Area 51 PC Good for fs9?

Featured Replies

Hi allLooking to upgrade my PC in the near future but I am a bit unsure of what hardware is good, bad or indifferent. ( not very computer savvy). The PC would be used to run FS9 , hopefully with all the bells and whistles. The company I am looking at is Alienware and they give various options for the models they sell. This is the model I'm looking at , and as you can see they have various build options. The PC would be used primarily for Flight Sim and not much else. The dashed lines represent the base model fittings would they run FS9 OK or would I need to upgrade to some of the other options listed?Any advice would be appreciated.Operating SystemsWindows Vista

Not enough information on the Intel processor.

Intel

That computer should run FS9 superbly and even run FSX decently.

That's even better, though the 9800GT may be a little better than the GTX260. Ask all the questions you want.
