MD 11 Update Performance FSX

Featured Replies

Just done my first flight having installed the service update for FSX. The main thing I noticed was a significant drop in fps. As a comparison, I repeated a pre-update flight. In exactly the same conditions, the pre-update average fps was 63. The flight after the update averaged at 39.Is there any reason why there should be such a reduction?Bud

2D - never use the VC. Actually, I think I may have posted in haste. The two flights I've had since have both shown fps back to normal - even up to 113 in cruise. Must say I'm a bit relieved.Bud
