Unable to save flight - FSX MD-11

Featured Replies

I am running XP SP3, FSX SP2, and the MD-11 with the recent update. I am trying to do the tutorial and want to save it at various steps along the way. I was able to save it after setting the Load Manager. I then tried to save it again when ready for pushback and after entering my name for the flight and pressing the button to save it I got a black screen for about a minute, following which I got a message that FSX had encountered a problem and has to close. I relaunched FSX and redid the flight to the point where I had completed pushback. I tried to save the flight at that point and the same error occurred. The error signature is as follows:Event type: BEXThen are listed 9 Pn entries as follows:P1: fsx.exeP2: 10.0.61637.0P3: 46fadb14P4: PMDG_MD11.dllP5:100.61.355.58P6: 49669c84P7: 00063196P8: c0000409P9: 00000000This is all unintelligible to me. I've not found any posts of anyone else encountering a similar problem. I've not encountered this with any other plane. The Event Viewer attributes both crashes to an Application Error involving fsx.exe and says the faulting module is PMDG_md11.dll and lists the fault address as 0x00063196. Any thoughts on what might be going wrong and how to fix it?Thanks,Robert
