Essentially the same model without some of the views in FS9 - Limitations of FS9 but wide panel is brilliant in both. Night lighting is better in FSX but thats due to constraints.Sounds and systems are the same, flies the same, slight diffences in navigation because of FS9 'flat earth' but then odd airports are unusable in both versions.Of course better fps in FS9 but different animal when it comes to them as FSX has more going on under the bonnet lol. Brilliant thing about the FS9 version is built in AES intelliscene settings so if you have that, no need to set it up.... More praise there for PMDG.Both excellent though, and as with any new baby... we 'numpties' (myself anyway lol) will find a way to break most things... Hard to patch it for things no one can imagine someone will do.Got to be very aware on takeoff though after the patch as it will get away very quickly and catch the unwary.John Ellison
