Gulfstream G100 Heading Bug

Recommended Posts

Hello. I was wondering if anyone could answer a quick question for me regarding the panel to the Gulfstream G100 by Peter Brun and Mario Coelho. It seems that the Heading Bug, Altimeter Bug, IAS control, etc. can only be adjusted in 10 degree increments (most of the time). Somehow I have gotten it to move in 1 degree increments but I don't know how I did it. It just kind of happend. It seems to move in 10 degree increments about 98% of the time. The other 2% is 1 degree increments.I had e-mailed Peter & Mario a few days ago but haven't heard anything. Can anyone tell me what the secret is to adjusting these correctly? Thanks very much!

Do you have Pete Dowson's FSUIPC.dll installed? If so, then look for a checkbox to fix that very problem. Its probably on the Technical page and the caption is clearly worded. If you don't have FSUIPC.dll installed, then get it and install it. Then find that checkbox. R-

I do have it installed. But, this problem only happens with this plane. All of my other aircraft work okay. Does it still sound like the same problem that you are thinking of?Thanks!

Okay. I'll check it out. If you happen to remember exactly where this option is and what it's called please let me know. But, why would this option only affect one aircraft and not the others? Is it possible that this panel was built completely different requiring this option or something? But, even if that's the case, why would it be able to be changed in 1 degree increments about 2% of the time? I'm not asking to be a pain. I'm just trying to understand.Did you or (or anyone else) have this same problem with this panel (or others)?Any info you can give me would be great. Thanks!
