Automatic download vs VATSIM Online Weather

What is the difference between the two. I find that using the Auto download demands more resourcefrom my system rather than VATSIM. Yet again I could be wrong.Beta updated works splendid on a fifteen hour flight. KORD-VIDP.No Issues.

Hi,Using the VATSIM option uses the VATSIM weather at departure and destination airports. This is so things match up for controller and pilot.
