I upgraded my system from Win 98SE to XP. I'm unable to hear ATC depite the message text show up properly. Somebody have any idea about the silly trick I made ?Thanks in advanceP.A.

Your compressed audio codecs are probably missing or disabled. Open Device Manager, open Sound, video, and game controllers, right-click audio codecs, properties, properties tab, and search for:imaadp32.acmmsadp32.acmMicrosoft PCM ConverterIf the codecs are present, click each one, select properties, and ensure "Use this audio codec is enabled. If the codecs are not present, insert your WinXP CD into the CD-drive and conduct a repair/reinstall.
