Lately, I've encountered a wierd situation that I've never had before. It seems that when I start MSFS and go to my default airport (or even if I select another plane or location at INITIAL startup), my engine and throttle start to accelerate and rev up. I have to touch a button on the joystick or change views or something to get it to calm down. I've tried re-initializing my default set up with the Cessna, but it still happens. What's causing this and how can I go back to my simple engine idle at startup? Stan

I have been having this problem since I bought my new Saitek 3d Force Joystick, What are you using, could it be An fsuipc problem?andyky

I've owned a Saitek 3D Force J/S for some time now, and also have this problem. Can't say it's an artefact of the Saitek 'stick though - this problem is only a very recent thing for me. Yes.This has never happened to me in all the years I've been flying this software. It just might be FSUIPC in some weird way. Stan
