Hey All,I just reinstalled FS2002 and now when I select the "Create A Flight", the sim freezes. Whenever there is anything to be displayed (i.e. Plane, Scenery), the sim will also freeze. I just reformatted my hard drive, so I have a fairly fresh install of everything. Here are my specs:P4 1.4gHzWindows XP Home Edition512mb RAMGeForce 4 Ti4200 43.45 DriversAny help would be appreciated!---------------------------------------------Jeff M.

When you reinstalled the OS, did you also install the updated drivers for your controller chips and disk drive accelerator, i.e., Intel, VIA, SiS, AMD, ALi. If not, you need to find out what controller chips you have by opening Device Manager then opening System Devices and IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers. Once you know the manufacturer, download and install the updated drivers for the chips. If you only installed WinXP, you only installed the basic drivers MS had at the time of XP release. Further, you need to install WinXP SP1 and pre-SP2 updates to ensure a more stable running OS.I also recommend updating to DirectX9.0a also.
