After ASA installation, FS9 crashes on final approach CTD: g3d.dll

Recommended Posts

Hi,I use ASA Build 355 together with FS2004, WinXP32, Nvidia Gforce8800GTX.Today I performed a flight from KATL to KBOS with the PMDG 737-800. I loaded the flightplan into ASA, using online weather.Everything went well until the final approach. At about 1500 FT on ILS 33L the sim crashed displaying the error msg g3d.dll.I flew to KBOS many times before and did never experience a crash to desktop. Can anybody help me here?Kind regardsFrank

I found the reason for the g3d.dl CTD!My apologies for blaming ASA. I found out that the addon AES "Airport Enhancement Services" is responsable for crashing the sim. It seems to happen if you fly from an airport that is not supported by AES to a AES supported destination.I disabled AES in the scenery library and flew the same flight again, this time without any problems. Sorry for troubling the community.Best regards Frank
