FS9/747 -CG on FMS and APU start after landing

Hi there,two small issues with the 747 in FS9:1. Following the various tutorials while preparing the FMC, in the perf init page it states to hit the LSK next to the CG to get the CG point and trim requirement. I note that the CG number is not highlighted like the other numbers and when I press the LSK nothing happens.2. After landing, whenever I try to switch on the APU by turning the knob to start, nothing happens. I cannot see any spooling on the EICAS and never get the APU available.Can someone help out please.Regards,Anto

1. If I remember correctly, you have to right click on the lsk to make it show the cg setting.2. Make sure you move the APU switch all the way to start, and not just to on

HI Robert,thank you for your reply.I will check out the right click tonight.As regards to the APU, I am sure I am going full toggle to start, but as I said nothing happens. Is there any checklist or procedure one has to follow after landing in which maybe I am missing something or is it only a matter of toggling the switch to start...in that case than maybe I have something related to the sim?ThanksAnton.

Have you waited ?The APU in the PMDG-744 takes some time to start and to shut down.

Hi,I have sorted out the CG issue on the FMC and that I should click on this in the Takeoff page and not on the Perf Init page.However I still have no luck with the APU start after landing....it still does not start. Any help from someone pls?thanxemann
