Simple Question - disabling the Default AI Traffic

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone:SImple Question. I forgot how to disable the default AI traffic that came with the program. I installed My Traffic, and now I want to get rid of the "fake" liveries that Microsoft created. How do I disable the default AI Traffic, leaving only the new My Traffic planes visible? I presume if I just turn the traffic slider down to the left it will disable ALL AI traffic, no? I just want to disable the Microsoft planes. Thanks,Chris Catalano

The default FSX AI-traffic file should have been disabled automatically when you installed MyTrafficX. The file, trafficAircraft.bgl, is located in the folder ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\World\Scenery. Just rename the file to trafficAircraft.XXX and all default AI aircraft will be disabled.

You can use myTraffic Communicator also. Select "Configure My Traffic" from the menu, then near the bottom select "Disable Default FSX Traffic". Bob
