February 22, 200917 yr Hey everyone,I have a slight problem. "Slight" as in....TP doesn't work. Here we go...downloaded the latest version of TP. Installed and chose a cache folder on a seperate drive. I then downloaded the proxyuser.ini file from the TP quickguide. I then edited the services to use the cache folder I had created. I left it to use Service 3 BTW. Ok, I start TP from the start menu...let it do its thing to where it says it is ready for takeoff. Then I fire up FSX and it loads to the default Friday Harbor location. The problem is....it still shows the default FSX scenery. No TP anywhere. Where exactly did I go wrong? I really want to check out this program as it looks incredible! Thanks,Danny

February 23, 200917 yr That's it, reboot and it either works or it doesn't? There is nothing else to try or fix?Another thing I often suggest is trying the default install location for Tileproxy and its cacheswhen placing them on separate drives did not work.Christian
February 23, 200917 yr Author Hmmm, I'll try that. Does it HAVE to be installed into the FSX directory? I would assume it has to be there. Also, the program itself. The way it is now. When I run it, the DOS window that does its thing, I am not able to close it after I load up FSX and it doesn't work. I click on the X and it just stays there. I can't get rif of it with task manager either. I have to do a hard reboot. I am running Vista 32.Danny
February 27, 200917 yr That window needs to be running all the time. While troubleshooting I would suggest that you run FSX in windowed mode, so you can keep an eye on this window any any errors it may show.
