Hey guys,I don't know if this is the appropriate place for this but I have tried an email to [email protected] if that even exists. I am trying to dig up my old purchase info for the FS9 744. I have tried creating/logging into accounts at www.precisionmanuals.com with no luck. I'm pretty sure that I purchased it way before the new website system was created. I would just like to know how I need to go about getting my old purchase info so I can get my 744 flying again!Thanks,Danny Fritsche

Wow, this place is still here! It's been a long time since I posted but here is a United 744 rolling out on 28 at ORD after a flight from IAD.Danny

As you can see from this image that I seem to be having issues with my PA A319 models. The spot on the nose. All the repaints are doing this for both the CFM and IAE models. It seems maybe I am just using an old model. If that is the case, is there a link to the lastest model somewhere?Thanks

Hey everyone,I was looking for a couple of FZ PDX files that I can no longer find that were on the Flightscenery site that no longer exists. The most important one being the UT compatibility patch that fixes the coastline around SEA. The second was the GA flightplans for the smaller airports in the scenery. Hey everyone, As you all know the Flightscenery website no longer exists. When it was up there was a file download on there for AI traffic at Pearson Field in the PDX scenery. I would love to have that back if anyone has it and could send it to me.Thanks,Danny

Interesting, I will try this when I get home from work hopefully. Since virtually all aircraft use that effect file and I am not renaming any files, only modifying what is inside, what is the need for the change in the effects section of the aircraft.cfg?Thanks,Danny

Hey everyone,I cannot seem to find Corey Ford's Continental 738W paint. The file is one of those that went missing and has not come back. I have searched through google and not come up with a download anywhere. For some reason, his 738 was never posted on Posky's site. Could someone please send it to me, I would really appreciate it! Also, there was a 739ER Retro paint hanging around that I also cannot find. Anyone have that? PM me please.Thanks,Danny

Well, I re-copied all the original sound folders and still nothing. Also noticed that I have lost EXTERNAL sounds on the default Cessna. The internals are still there. Also, any 3rd party aircraft (PMDG, LDS, etc) don't play any callouts like gear, trim sounds, etc. I had googled a bit on the issue and come up with issues with a .dll but the issue was for WindowsXP and I am using Vista. MS even has a KB for it. I have no idea what to do other than doing a fresh install of FS9. I am really not wanting to do that. Does the PA Airbus A320 not have wingflex? I know the latest version of their A319 does as I use it. But I don't see any flex on my A320 and I don't use the A321 so I dunno about that one. Maybe I don't have the latest model?ThanksDanny

Hey guys,A new problem has popped up for me. All of a sudden my ATC sounds are gone. I didn't do any big changes that would have messed with that area. Also, sometimes some aircraft sounds won't play. What part of the FS folder is this info kept in? Default ATC sounds? Can anyone tell me on what CD they would be found so I can just try to restore them in that way? I know there is a site that has maps of the FS CDs but I couldn't find it in a quick google search.Thanks,Danny

By "clean" install, I mean formatting my HD and reinstalling my OS.

Hey guys,I have recently done a clean install of FS. Well, I was getting all my scenery put back in and then some afcads added. Well, I wanted to edit one so I downloaded the latest version of Afcad but now, upon opening, when I go to "Open" to open a file, the "Collecting Airports" box pops up and proceeds to load two bars and then the program freezes. Is something in my scenery.cfg out of whack and it causing it to fail? Any suggestions?Thanks,Danny

Hey guys,I managed to get the double palm fixed but I still have the "straight" coastline. I am using two add-ons from Richard Faith I think it is. One of which was a Palm Island enhancement. I fixed that issue by disabling two bgls from FT that weren't mentioned in the readme. As far as the straight coastline. I have tried disabling a couple different bgls but still have not found a solution.

Hey everyone,I have recently re-installed FlyTampa's OMDB and the Dubai Islands/City addons that are found here in the library. Everything is working EXCEPT a double coastline. I have installed/uninstalled/reinstalled/etc. trying to get it set up right as per the instructions included in the readme. No matter what I do, I get a double coastline. Like the default one staying put. I have looked at all the BGLs trying to figure out which one it might be but I can't figure it out. Here is a screen of what I am talking about.It runs the length of the city down to OMDB. Really annoying. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?Thanks,Danny

Hmmm, I'll try that. Does it HAVE to be installed into the FSX directory? I would assume it has to be there. Also, the program itself. The way it is now. When I run it, the DOS window that does its thing, I am not able to close it after I load up FSX and it doesn't work. I click on the X and it just stays there. I can't get rif of it with task manager either. I have to do a hard reboot. I am running Vista 32.Danny

That's it, reboot and it either works or it doesn't? There is nothing else to try or fix?
