Question about Windows "HotFix" in my software programs.

Featured Replies

I was looking at my add/remove software in control panel and I have a lot of Win hotfix programs listed at the bottom.Reading "Help" I am sure they pertain to downloads I have installed. Can anyone explain what these are and if I can delete them? Thanks,Ron

First, please post questions like this in the Harware Forum (while this is not about hardware, it is also not about MSFS.)To answer your question:I would not delete them. These are fixes that you get off of the Windows Update page. They will be rolled up (eventually) into a Service Pack. Most are usually security fixes, so it is important that they stay.
Ken Salter (aka SaltyDog)
MSFS & Fly!
