Hi:I'm reinstalling after a long break. Does this sound right: fsx, acceleration, any SPs (will fsx automatically update, or should i download seperetly, add-ons.Thanks

FSX, Acceleration, Addons. Skip any Service Packs, as Acceleration brings you up to date. I start FSX after each step to let it build it's indexs and the likes. Plan a few defrags along the way, as I've seen 30%+ fragmentation from installing FSX and Acceleration to a clean HD.Plan your addons wisely and check that the work as advertised, rather than piling them all upon each other, then discovering you have a problem.

Many thanks-I got accel as soon s it was released, and iirc it had sp1 with it. I assume there is no other SP since then?From FSInsider: if accel, then dont install sp2, so acell only i guess.Thanks again

Acceleration has SP2 'built in'.
