How to Create PSD Paint Kit from BMPs

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to do some repaints of the Eurowings A320. Their paint kit supplies the BMP files only. I have copied them into a single PSD file to paint the aircraft. However, the merged fuselage is a single layer. What is the best way to take this single layer and break it into multiple layers (i.e., windows, doors, details, etc.) in order to facilitate repainting. Thanks for your help!Pete in KORD

You may paint over the BMP by using layers , transparent, multyplying whatever.Removing the white from the BMP and use this as a toplayer for the windows and dirt might work also. There is no such tool as a BMP to layerfile-converter.Leen
