Kai Tak IGS 13

Featured Replies

I posted this on the FS2004 forum also.I'm not sure that this is the right forum to ask, perhaps I should ask on the aircraft specific forums. Let me know. I want to get the Kai Tak IGS 13 approach in both my PMDG 747 and my Level D 767. Can anybody help with a link and some info on where to install it? I also understand that there is some nice freeware terrain and airport. Also, I notice that VHHX which I think is the designator since Kai Tak closed is Not in the database. VHHH, the original ICAO ident is now the new Hong Kong airport ident. Any help and links to SIDS, STARS and approach, as well as terrain with some suggestions on how to install will be appreciated.Thanks.Bruce [email protected]

Hi!You are about to get hold of the coolest app there is with the KaiTak IGS 13 :( The scenery you should go for is the FlyTampa Kai-tak, which is paywhere though...Fly Tampa sceneryIf you want freeware there is allways the 9Dragons KaiTak scenery which is very good indeed!Search "9dragons" at AVSIM FS2004 Scenery and you shall find. When you've got the scenery installed you will find the apt, VHHX, in the database. (in FS, never in your acftas I suppose you are using updated AIRACs which follows IRL data, and IRL KaiTak is no more)Well, you can edit the AIRAC too, but that's over my head...For navigation sake you can plan the flight to VHHH, deviate in the end, set up your nav-radios as usualand fly the app.Regarding the paperwork you've got a nice set here:Hong Kong VACCGood luck!A.J.
