Alpha Channels

Featured Replies

Hello all!Just got a new 'puter with XP installed. I have already gotten DX9 installed. Any idea why none of my "Chrome" aircraft textures dont show up as "Chrome". Is as if there is no Alpha Channel, but the textures I checked do have the Alphas! Card is integrated GF4 MX (For now, until i get the GF3 ti200 out of the old machine!)Thanks!!Scott:-zhelp

Thanks for the reply! Tried that one...apparently doesnt apply to the integrated chipset! Oh, well...will just have to get the GF3 ti200 in this weekend! Thanks again!Scott

I would look again. Try this:Press start, all programs, accessories, system tools, system information. Open components, display and in the right panel look for:PNP Device ID PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_0281&SUBSYS_89431462&REV_A14&618BA55&0&0008Your numbers may be different, but here is the trick for the fs2002display.cfg file:;NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 with AGP8X[000010DE:00000281]DriverValidate2=1See how the VEN_10DE and DEV_0281 are used in the above example.Find your numbers and if they are not listed in the fs2002display.cfg file, add them. If the numbers are listed make sure you remove the ";" from the two lines as shown above.
