FDC Checklist Response Question?

Featured Replies

For some years I used FlightDeck Companion with great success. However, quite some time ago I began to get an error and it stopped working for me. With the kind help of the supplier and originator of the program, we still could not find my problem. Due to the fact that it was I think the original version updated several time, I gave up.Today, being that I still had the program installed, on a lark I tried it again. No problems at all and it works perfectly which proves that the malfunction was a short between these old ears of some kind.My current problem is memory (The mind, not RAM).I remember and can easily see that with the "Auto1", "Auto2", and "Semi-Auto" options that the Callouts and Responses are pretty much automatic. However, currently, thanks to trying to coordinate with PF2000/PFE_Emulator, I would like to have the program response manually as much as possible. When I select the "Manual" option, I do have to press the spacebar each time to go to the next callout. However, the response remains automatic. What I desire is that the response of the callout be delayed until I press a key. For example, when the callouts like "FMC", "Radios", "Autopilot", "Transponder", etc. are called out, that there be a delay until I press a key to respond with, "Set" or whatever. In searching all of the options and reading the help library, I am overlooking this capability if I am remembering correctly that it is available. If someone knows what I am overlooking or that this is not a provision of the program, I sure would appreciate a reply. No biggie, and I am thrilled to have this program working again. For those seeking another addition for reality I highly recommend it. If I remember correctly there is an FSX upgrade which I am sure to take a peek at and probably purchase.Respectfully:RTH
