RC contains thousands of files which rarely change so ideally it would be best to install it on its own drive or partition.Just point it to the location of FSX.EXE during the install. A final question please. Can I start RC when on the departure runway or must I be parked before taxiing to the runway?Regards.............Cliff
March 30, 200917 yr Moderator Thanks for that quick response Ray. A final question please. Can I start RC when on the departure runway or must I be parked before taxiing to the runway?Regards.............CliffHi Cliff,It would be most inadvisable to start RC when you're on the departure runway especially if you have an Ai package. I've never done it btu I imagine that as soon as you contact TWR you will get severely chastised for entering the runway without permission. :( If you want to speed up the phase from ATIS to taking off I suggest you park very close to the runway and skip ATIS. You must still receive Clearance, Ground and Tower instructions before you can line up for take-off. Ray (Cheshire, England). March 31, 200917 yr Moderator Thanks Ray. Just a final question if I may? Can "Radar Contact" use Flight Plans that have been created in "Vroute" and exported into my PMDG aircraft??Regards..............cliffHi Cliff,RC can only read FS9/FSX plans so you would need to export from vRoute using that format.
