I'll post this here since I seem to offend someone on the PMDG forum:Hello, in an on going attempt to gain performance I use alacritypc to shut down everything in the background before launching FS9 and the PMDG 747.In the 2D cockpit, I get up to 45fps, but the virtual cockpit is extemely variable with FPS from 14-38. with this range, I get stutters. What I'm wondering is, with the specs. I have, compared to a similar setup, what should I expect in the area of frame rates?-Michael LaudadioAMD athlon 64x26000+3gig ddr ramATI 3650 pcie 1gig ram

You should be getting what you have, from my own experience, but we might be able to tell you more if you tell the actual CPU speed and OS. There's quite a difference between XP and Vista, for example.
