April 18, 200917 yr I have FSX in a weird place: D:\Games\Flight\Microsoft Flight Simulator XNever run into a situation where a program didn't at least let you find itand "tell" the program where it is, but this one has no such option. Justsays it can't find FSX and closes out. Does anybody have a clue how one would go about installing this?(short of reinstalling FSX, that ain't happening)Thanks.
April 18, 200917 yr The fsx path may be missing from the registry, there is a fsx path fix utility in the dowloads section somewher, see if that solves the problem.
April 18, 200917 yr Zinertec has good customer service. Their support e-mail is in the manual in several places, or on their website.Beyond that, the installer is very simple: enter the key, say which version you want installed, and it automatically does the rest, even if your FSX location is not standard. At least that was my experience with it. Maybe you accidentally chose FS9?Jeff ShylukSenior Staff ReviewerAVSIMEDIT: Looking at the installer more closely, if your Flight Sim isn't in the registry, i.e., you don't have FS9, and you are trying to install that version, the installer gives you an error message about the registry. Although you are better off following up with Zinertec's support, if you copy down and post the error message you get, maybe we can figure this out.
