April 28, 200917 yr Hi,Ive just prepared my LAN and simconnect variables to run ASA from a client. The documentation says that ishould have FSX installed before installing ASA. Does this apply to client install as well? And if FSX was installedon my client PC, are there components that will install to that FSX that should actually be on the host FSX install? Thanks for reading.David RanieriSydney, AU.
April 29, 200917 yr Hi David,No, don't install FSX on the client. In fact, that is the worst thing you could do!Thanks,
April 29, 200917 yr Author Hi Jim,Ill clear the client of any FSX related files and then just install ASA directly onto there.Ill let you know how it goes.Thanks.David.
April 30, 200917 yr Author Hi Jim,Firstly I should apologize. The info I needed was actually further on in the docs.Good news so far though... Out of the box its given me a matching report/depiction at my test airport, I onlychanged 'lock position to FS'.Now ill start playing with some options!Sorry for the unnecessary post.Cheers.David.
