Paint kit for Aerosoft DHC2

Featured Replies

Hi!I have searched and searched for a long period of time, but still I cant find a good paint kit for theDHC-2 Beaver from Aerosoft. I know it is possible to use the paint kit on this Aerosoft pageThe BeaverX product pagebut I dont know how to modify it. The lines and bolts have no own layer, so all the paint isoverwriting the textures.So.... I am looking for a paint kit which easily can be used to create new variations, where all paint are in layers.Best regards,Tom A Hansen

Yes Tom they do.Nevertheless you can make excellent paints from these (so called) paintkitsMake your texture on different layers ( over the single layered file) and use the layer properties.Fiddle around with things like opacity, color gamma transparancy multyplying etc. There is so much you can do.Give it a try.succesLeenPSTom, let me give you a fine example.I made a screenshot from my post and used is as a (so called) paintkitAs you can see I changed colors and even planted topmatoes UNDER the text. It`s clear I a can do a fine repaint on a blank using the same skills.People who say , a single layered paintkit is worthless , just have to learn a lot.

Ahhhh..... Thanks Leen..... never thought of the possibility to lower the opacity on the layer etc.I will sure give it some more tries.Thank you for helping! Best regards,Tom A Hansen
