May 5, 200917 yr so, I'm constantly getting fsx out-of-memory errors...and I'm just going to wipe vista 32 and install vista 64. I found no evidence of a pmdg md-11 uninstaller in the little menu you get to from start, so I uninstalled it from add/remove programs.will I have any problems unzipping and running the installer for the md-11 again? I forget how the installation goes. I have my order ID from when I purchased it. is that all I need?I honestly did run searches in this forum... on key (didn't work). Reinstallation obviously popped up some topics, but not specifically what I was questioning.I apologize if this is a duplicate thread of some sort.sincerely,Chris Romaniello
May 6, 200917 yr Commercial Member Chris,1. The uninstall links you see in Start Menu groups are usually just shortcuts to the same uninstaller Add/Remove uses. You uninstalled it the right way.2. You should not have any problems, just make sure you run the installer "As Administrator" by right clicking on it. Alternately just disable UAC altogether if you're confident in your ability to keep your system secure without that extra layer.
