Im guessing that these are two pre-built systems and you wont be able to mix and match the components?Or will you be building it yourself?If I were you I would go with the i7, purely becasue FSX relies more on the processor and the i7 is better than the phenom.If it's possible to replace the 9800gt with the GTX285 then you would have a pretty decent rig.I presume you will be using a x64 OS for the >3GB Ram?

Thanks allot RobYes these are pre built rigs, though they can be re-constructed, that is, they are not standard rigs such as Dell, HP,Acer, ext.. I will order (one of them) built as I don't "trust" myself as a PC builder,,, the components for such a rig, are to dear to make mistakes with... ... :( I will use Vista Home Premium 64Bit OS..Thanks again for your advise :( .

I have built several i7 core X58 for FSX..Honestly they are no better than the old socket 775's IMO..I just built a rig for 410 bucks that is rock solid for FSX ..Its running a E5200 OCed to 3.2 and a 3850 vid card....Its smooth as silk and holds 35 frames all day ...
