Hi, ASA would stop loading shortly after AS6 backward compatibility or so it seems - it says missing path for AS6.exe - I have a fresh install of FSX under XP What's the problem really ?Thanks

Hi, Good question but I'm confused. I have had ASV6 long ago (wasn't it for FS9 then ?) I might even remember having ASV6.5 which was an update still for FS9 I think. Then I bought ASX full which I'm able to install and use, even added SP2 and SP4 and it is still working. I bought the ASA update on simmarket using the upgrade from ASX to ASA or so I think. Watching this ASV6 patch check it seems I did'ntget the correct upgrade package. What is even more confusing is that the download file I got was named "ASA Full" and I was able to install it from scratch in my new setup, only it stops working once installed and put to work. I did buy quite some time ago so didn't remember if I bought ASA full or upgrade so only from reading the file name I installed straight away. After I went to check on Simmarket and noticed I had bought the upgrade version so I de-installed ASA then installed the ASX full and then after installed ASA but I have the same issue as to this ASV6 check ??regards

Hi,same with me.ASA stops at:Backwards Compatibility ASv6 Check/Copy problem: A part of the path C:\Program Files\Test\ActiveSky\Modules\ASv6\ASv6.exe could not be found.I removed AS6.5 before i installed ASA.WinXP (SP2) / FS9 / ASA (Build 316) runs on a seperate notebook.

Ok,it seems i have solved the problem.1. install update B4312. install netframework 3.5now it runs :(
