, live in the uk just outside of Birmingham i am 48. hi I have been siming for years and love it , have made my way though paywear aircraft , like most of us I cut my teeth on the FMC in the pmdg 737 then on to the level d 767, and now i flymy fav i know some dont like it but the pss 757 is the one for me .what i am after is a mentor someone to help with the setting up sqk box ect and advice to get me up and running on VATSIM i have posted on the forums there but no joy . i have downloaded sqk box and vroute .I am worried about making a cock up of it , so anyone out there willing to help please drop me a line thanks jonj0e

Don't worry about making a cock up. Everyone does when they start. It's how we learn!Squawkbox has a fantastic getting started guide:http://squawkbox.ca/doc/start/quickstart.phpIt has pictures and clear instructions. There is no possible way anyone could take your hand and make it any clearer mate! If you really are stuck on something specific I am sure people will help but you've just got to make the start yourself and dive in. It's easier than you think.Cheers,Dave
