May 18, 200323 yr If you're into Boeing 737s, do yourself a BIG favour and download this beauty!!!!!!!!!Visually it's stunning, it flies really well and is presented in a variety of popular liveries with more to follow. When downloading, don't forget the Sound Pack. It adds lots of atmosphere, especially in the cockpit. And best of all, it's freeware.Thank you FFX!Toni.
May 18, 200323 yr DVCs aren't the end of the world. The visual model and sounds alone are exellent. Take it for a test flight and you'll feel better about it.
May 18, 200323 yr Thanks for the info. Personally, I have no interest at all in models without dynamic VC's because that's the "office" where I spends 95% of my FS time. Theres an immersion factor in a good VC, esp with active camera (good freeware examples - Antti's Dauphin, PM2 Concorde, Yannicks Falcon 50, FW200 Condor airliner). Thats not to say that people who like arcade cockpits are wrong; simply my personal preference. All the bestLonelyplanetXO
May 18, 200323 yr >Thats not to say that people who like arcade cockpits are>wrong; simply my personal preference.>I love a great VC and use them all the time with numerous GA aircraft. But I havn't found many (or any) airliner size cockpits where the VC has the detail quality and readable smaller instruments of the 2D panel. L.Adamson
May 18, 200323 yr yeah, fair comment. The Posky CRJ, PM2 Concorde and A320 have good VC's, but aside of them (& default models), very few good airliner VC's exist. My posts here aren't a complaint; rather an observation. I am grateful to all of the freeware designers out there who spend countless hours working to make the sim what it is. "My preference" is just that - many people will download the FFX Boeing & love it, I'm sure.Happy landings LPXO
May 19, 200323 yr Shame the link doesn't work.Anyone know of one that does?Gavin Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
