Lost ATC sound and text messages

Featured Replies

Strange. No idea why but my FSX ATC lost its texting capacities. When I start a flight and contact ground then I can select clearance/request to taxi and then my message to the controller is neither shown nor spoken anymore, the ATC window is just empty, see screenshot. All I can then HEAR is the controller assigning me a rwy for takeoff but again no text, any idea? Which would be the necessary file needed from the DVD to copy into my FSX folder? I am more then hesitating to reinstall the whole thing... would post a screenshot if I knew where to upload the picture first.BestPhil

Jim, this won't mess up my Acceleration? Well, will try...PhilEDIT: now I know, this was even worse. No FSX crashes when I try to start it. Too late today to further investigate, but seems time for a complete reinstall....
