June 7, 200917 yr Strange. No idea why but my FSX ATC lost its texting capacities. When I start a flight and contact ground then I can select clearance/request to taxi and then my message to the controller is neither shown nor spoken anymore, the ATC window is just empty, see screenshot. All I can then HEAR is the controller assigning me a rwy for takeoff but again no text, any idea? Which would be the necessary file needed from the DVD to copy into my FSX folder? Well, will try...PhilEDIT: now I know, this was even worse. No FSX crashes when I try to start it. Too late today to further investigate, but seems time for a complete reinstall....
