FSX profile for Saitek X52 (not pro) in Vista

Featured Replies

Hello, everyone. While browsing at Fry's, I had this wierd thing happen at the joystick display. See, I needed a good replacement for my venerable MS Sidewinder Precision 2, which was starting to show its age in the form of buttons no longer working and a squirrelly hat switch. Comfort and similar functionality were my main criteria, but what ended up happening was the Saitek's siren song got to me. All I had to do was put my hands on the display model throttle and stick and I was under the spell. I'd intended on getting a $30 basic stick, but walked out of the store $109.xx poorer brandishing a Saitek box and an ear to ear grin. Impulse buying is the devil, let me tell you! Anyway, to the meat of the matter, I'm running Vista 32 and the .dat format profiles don't work with the latest Saitek profiling software. I tried to start programming something useful, but my eyes started to cross. I was wondering if anyone had a compatible profile they wouldn't mind sharing that I can use as a jumping off point to customize to my own needs. I'd greatly appreciate it.Thanks,Jon
