Hi,That we couldn't tell you because the formats have been kept the same, but it is good that you use the work-around.Thanks,

Jim,You might not have understood, that it's not easily possible to change my local language settings. We live here in Europe and many other programs use these settings. I also would not urge you, to change your settings to German. That's why Microsoft has included the national language support. And even worse: with the 3rd numeric column you are able to support the decimal point and with the first and second you are not ?!? I can't believe, that you shouldn't be able to use the number format according to the local language setting for all columns in the same way. This is only one function call. Believe me - I am an IT guy. And if you publish the code, by which you write the numbers into the file, I could tell you the solution.I also would be happy, if you always write it in US form, as you did it before. But the mixture is the bad thing.RgdsReinhard

Hi,We know it takes a few seconds to switch from one language to another. We also know users are not using banking programs and such while using ASA and FSB. Make the language change, use FSB and ASA, and make the change back.We are not going to release any code to anyone. We looked into this on June 15 and Damian stated that the formats were the same and that is what I shared with everyone. At this point this topic is going nowhere so I am going to lock it.
