Community Form - The Author's Wishes

To all, It's nice that the MODs are always trying to help, that's for certain and I'd like to thank them personally. But I'd like an opinion on what should be done with an authors content. Should we, (as authors), be able to decide where and when what we write is best served? For instance, I posted a topic about defraggers and had a bunch more things to say about them. I found some interesting information, (at least I thought so), that this group might enjoy. Not the hardware group, not the software group, but this group. The post has been moved out of this forum and yet this is where I wanted it. So it's up to you, the informed reader, did I overstep my bounds here by mentioning it?This issue is kind of ironic in a way. When I posted my SKAI topic, I had a whole bunch of people chiming in saying its an author's right to decide what they want to have done with their content. I'm an author too...maybe not a great one but who's to decide :)Anyway, I didn't mean to make anyone upset, just wanted to finish a thought without being interrupted.Mark

Mark-Consider there is a logic and rules to be followed here based on much experience which are clearly stated. We mods just follow them.Sorry it rubs you the wrong way-but that is the way it is.

WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!

I have to say that at least on this site when they move a topic a link is left so it is quite easy to follow. On other sites i have used a topic gets moved and it is then down to you to track it down, some sites i haved used dont even tell you where they have moved it to , so unless you have the same mindset as the mod you are in for a lot of searching :( @MarkI understand you are appealing to the FS9 community when you posted your question , but the thing we all have to remember is that we are all guests here really and we have to play by the House rules :( Mark
