June 17, 200916 yr Hi guys, I upgraded my Vista to Win7 recently, and after the update I can hear no sounds when in external view (looking at the airplane from outside). From the cockpit I can hear all sounds perfectly. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?Thank you. V
June 17, 200916 yr Wow, very weird. That one escapes me.As a sidenote, I wouldn't personally up to W7. Simply for the reason that drivers are in the beginning beta stages, and not functioning 100%.
June 17, 200916 yr Hey VaclavLoubekI had a similar problem a little while back but I discovered it because I had no voices. After a lot of frustration, I discovered that it was because my sound setup was configured for a 5.1 surround system, usually done with the 3rd party (e.g. Realtek) drivers. Even though my system is wired up for 5.1 Surround, when I changed the Realtek configuration back to plain old stereo, I had all my sounds back. :( By the way, this seemed to affect only FSX as I use my PC for other games too.Just one path to look at.Cheers, i5 760 @ 4.1GHz on P7P55D-E Pro | 4x 2GB G.Skill RipJaws DDR3-1600 | 2x WD SE16 Caviar SATAII | Gainward GTX460 2GB GS | ThermalTake ToughPower 750W | LG 32LG50FD @ 1920x1080x32 | Windows 7 HP x64 | FSX Deluxe + Acceleration | FTX AU SP3 | FTX NA Blue PNW | REX2 | JF TrafficX | TrackIR
