Since a couple of days, whenever I start FS,create a flight and find myself in the cockpit, a small window with the map (bird's view from above) opens additionally, I have to close this manually.Any idea how I can get rid of this second window?Andreas

If you create a flight the window setup and other information is taken from your default flight. For instance if your default flight starts with engine off then your created flight will start that way. So it's easy. Go into your default flight, turn off that window and save with the default flight box checked.
