KDTW scenery probs

Featured Replies

Hi Pls see screenshot, I'm *trying* to use Paul Mainville's DTW scenery but it seems to have been giving me some problems with the interaction with the default DTW scenery.I've tried all sorts of scenery library configurations - changing layers etc but without success. Can anyone offer any advice?Cheers

Looks like it needs a exclude switch placed in the scenery config. and I dont have a idea what tha would be.Regards

Tom,I just checked my Mainville DTWv4 scenery.cfg listing...give this a try in the DTW listing of your scenery.cfgExclude=N42 14.4,W83 23.22,N42 11.42,W83 19.37,allHope it helpsCJ PuttKTPA

Tom,Its kind of hard to tell from your post exactly what the problem is. I would need more info. Ive used it in the ADDON folder, other subfolders inside and out of the Flight Simulator folders with no problem.Just a note, the scenery isnt compatible with FS2000.Unless you can be more specific there's not much I can do to help especially on how its interacting with the default scenery?

Hi allMany thanks for the responses, I managed to sort the problem by installing V4.0 of the scenery, previously had ver 3 installed :-wave

That would do it. Version 3.0 was designed for 98 and 2000.If you go to http://www.vnwa.com/Noramair/Projects/Detroit.html there is a texture fix there also at the bottom of the page.Paul J. Mainville
