AI aircraft lights during daytime

Featured Replies

I was wondering if there is a way to see AI aircraft lights during the daytime like real aircraft use theres during the day.

To answer your question, the answer is no unfortunately.

You are incorrect, nav lights on AI show in FS04.---Banners? We don't need no stinkin' banners!---Visualize FSGateway/ProjectAI sig banner here

The questioner didn't mention FS2004. My reply was to an FS2002 query.

However, from your shots it appears that they will be on ALL THE TIME, even when the planes are shut down at the gate - also not correct. Why can't they make them like the real thing? - on when the engines are on, off when the engines are off. They do it with animated props, they certainly should be able to do it with lights!!!Take care,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

Tom,There are occasions when real aircraft are parked at the gate, shutdown, and the lights are left on as a safety precaution, especially at night. So how does MS determine when to leave the lights on and when to turn them off?I agree with you that the simplest option would be to turn off the lights when the aircraft's engines are not running (as happens in FS2002 at night).Bruce
