Pauses with EZ Landmark

I'm giving this another shot. I just installed Abacus EZ Landmark which reads a database and displays the name, bearing, and distance of many FS2002 landmarks. The program works fine but about every 30 seconds my sim pauses for about a second. It is quite annoying and I have no other pauses or problems with my system. It is a 2.8 P4 with a gig of ram and an NVIDIA 128 mb TI4600G card. Abacus teck support says they are stumped asside from trying an updated video driver which I did but did not solve the problem. Does anyone out there have any ideas? Abacus claims the program is "simply accessing the included database and telling FS to draw the info above the appropriate scenery." Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
