Southwest Nose Gear collapses

Last Saturday a Southwest nose gear collapsed when Land at Rick Husband airport (AMA It'l Amarillo, Texas)There were * * * NO INJURIES * * * .A crew came up from Dallas and moved it to a hanger Sunday Afternoon.Thought You might like to know. Jim Alcorn

FYI, a nasty crosswind gust hit the plane and made it go off to the side. I don't know the tail number.P.S. this is my first post on AVSIM in probably 2 YEARS!! None of you guys remember me, I'm sure...Rhett

Hi Jack,When It happene, everybody including Television etc were kicked out of the airport for a while.The tail number was given out.It was the last flight from Dallas.Jim Alcorn

Ah, I do remember you too. I'm surprised someone remembered me, but then again people don't usually forget my name. The last time I posted here, we were using the old forum system. I haven't been out of FS in this time, I own FS2002 Pro, but unfortunately I haven't had the time to get into things like I used to. I started with SubLogic FS2 (on the Apple //e) back in the mid- and late 1980's and have gone all the way forward with the series.
