hey guys, i'm hoping you can help me here.i have the pmdg 747 for FSX, and for some reason, i have lost most sound effects. engine sound works, gear sound works. flaps don't, master warning doesn't. gwps doesn't (among others). do i have a corrupt .cfg file somewhere? i dont even know where to troubleshoot. im thinking maybe a program is interfering with it. i have GEX, REX, ASA...this started happening like a day ago, when i reinstalled everything clean on a new partition.and i've already reinstalled PMDG like 10 times to no avail. nothing seems to work.

I know that sometimes when I had like EAX effects on or matrix some planes wouldn't let me hear those effects. I'm willing to bet it's your sound setup and not the plane.

nothing wrong with the sound setup... just checked... this problem is only with the pmdg plane, also

well.... i fixed it... and im not sure why it happened in the first place, but...i just bought a new HDD, formatted it, created a partition solely for FSX, barebones services, etc... well, when the sound effects stopped working, i imported the "747400gauges.cfg" file from the old hard drive i WAS using.... and it appeared to have different/ more [soundprocessor] inputs. fired up FSX, everythings perfect. boy was that driving me nuts!
