July 7, 200916 yr Hello....I recently installed Win7 RC 64B and a fresh install of FSX Gold......When I started installing my "addon scenery" files in the sim, only about 4-5 would show up in the library...Now these have all been running and working great on my Vista 64 install and had no problems adding them and yes, they all have the correct structure. Also I am being denied access to "Documents and Settings"...Maybe more, haven,t checked....I have checked "show hidden files" and turned the UAC slider to minimum .No off/on click spot like Vista(?)...Any help or suggestions is appreciated...Lou C172P N97674 PPL SEL Complex High Performance

In fact, any file with an arrow in it cannot be accessed. You want to goto the Users file, open that and then click on your name. Under that you will have Documents that you can access and, of course, you want to have access to AppData/Roaming so you can get access to the FSX.cfg and other FSX files and folders. In regards to adding scenery to the library, you probably haven't added the folder properly. If it doesn't show up in the Library, you need to back out and then try again until it is recognized. Clicking on the Scenery folder under the main heading of the addon scenery WILL NOT add the scenery properly. Hope this helps.Best regards,Jim

Thanks LouSorry Lou, no more ideas. With my Vista 32 bit system I've had some problems adding scenery to the Library and have to back out and try again. Usually the 2nd or 3rd time is a charm and works. Hopefully someone with your OS will be able to help you soon.Best regards,Jim Young
