ASA Beta build Wake

Featured Replies

Hi Jim,I was checking this thing for a while now, and tonight I had the confirmation. It seems that wake turbulence doesn't work with global settings on. I tried it without global depiction, and it was ok. I was established on final tonight, when the TCAS started screaming (vis was quite poor..) and a B737 appeared just ahead of me, not more than 1 mile, same altitude. No wake at all. I kept staying in its wake, then went below it, where it should have been even stronger, but nothing again. So I went looking in the main window to see if the wake was called (as it was called without DWC when I experienced it) but there wasn't, only a lot of up and downdraughts. I kept the log in case you need it, but searching for the word "wake" only two items appear, the first is "20.41.11:0171 - Wake sample and synthesis thread has been started" and the second "0.51.26:0016 - Problem running wake samples from FSX aircraft: Thread interrotto." when I closed FSX and ASA.Cheers,Fede
