Ciao Luca, sì, in teoria il discorso che fai è giusto. Premesso che non ho questo aereo, i Wilco erano proni a questo tipo di errori (CTD,crash, etc) in passato, ma non mi sono mai interessato davvero. Per chiarire però: te lo fa tutte le volte che l'ATC ti da il consenso? Usi il default ATC? Su diversi aeroporti o solo uno? Immagino tu clicchi qualcosa, magari l'FMC, e poi freeza tutto..no? Hi there, I've been desperately trying to get access to their support forum, but after I log in everything is empty. No threads, no titles, nothing, just the banners are working. There are 6 subforums when I'm a guest. As soon as I log in they disappear. I have a white page. I already sent 2 emails to their admin, but I never had a reply or a fix (first mail was sent on 28th May, the last one on 6th June) for this. Can anybody help me and tell me who can I mail to and fix this issue? Is this because I changed my email address, and now it's different from the one I used to purchase the sceneries? Thanks Martin, but cables are ok. I checked everything inside the case a couple of days ago, unplugged and replugged every card/cables etc. Everything looks normal...I'm now changing the Keyboard and Mouse with old school ones cabled after advice of a customer of mine (IT chief), the PSU will come next eventually. I already have one in my ebay (Corsair HX 850), but I'll wait after the weeekend for more testing. I want to check every hardware I have attached before spending 150 euros on a PSU... Cheers

Hi guys, I hope you can help me. I've been geting this strange error since I formatted and reinstalled Win7 64. But let me begin from the start. Back in February I had a windows update which caused my 32bit applications (FSX inclusive) to crash on starting. Firefox, Explorer, FSX and other apps couldn't run anymore. I then found out that reinstalling the video drivers fixed the issue. Until the next system restart...upon rebooting, the problem came back. So basically I had to reinstall the Nvidia drivers each single day.. Format C: and here we go. I thought I was good. Reinstalled OS and all the updates, the problem showed again. So I reformatted, reinstalled OS and blocked the updates ( I can't understand which is the one causing the issue). Everything's perfect now, but.... every day or two, my PC restarts like somebody pulled the plug. Bang, no BSOD, no errors, nothing. Just everything turns black and restarts. I unflagged the option to restart the system after a crash, but it does restart anyway, it simply doesn't care. It shuts down and restarts in 3 seconds. All BIOS power options are OFF. It shouldn't start on its own if the power goes off. And in fact it doesn't. I tried switching the PSU off manually and turning it on in a second and the PC stays off. I removed all the dust, temperatures are well under control, I even bought a Watt reader to plug in the wall and my PC under OCCT PSU stress test absorbs 500W. Mine is a 650W Thermaltake toughpower, but it's 5 years old, just out of warranty... MB drivers are the latest, updated the BIOS, but nothing to do... Right now I am thinking at two possibilties: PSU or Video card. The PSU for obvious reasons, but I think my video card has something wrong for the first error that I had to format the PC. Can, in your opinion, be a short circuit triggering a protection? In the PSU or Mobo I mean. I forgot to tell you that it happens at idle usually, not under stress. Most of times I'm just browsing the internet. Thanks for your help Cheers Fede

I'd try reinstalling the video drivers (the same one you are using, or a newer one, if you prefer, but I usually stick with the one I know it works..). Also, have you installed any new scenery/aircrafts recently? Maybe they just modified some files within FSX..I don't know, just thinking out loud. Have you tried lowering the sliders? Some Video RAM error maybe... My best guess remains the video drivers anyway. Cheers Fede

I rolled back to 2.0 for this very reason. My FPS were unstable with heavy cloud cover, over water particularly with 2.x settings. Besides with "shade", I don't see the water at all at night, so.. :lol:

I was able to complete a flight last night (preparing a new one right now ) and, even though I set the CRZ correctly, I tried changing it in the INIT page and it worked. I don't know what was wrong the previous time. It seemed strange I couldn't do such an elementary task. Now I have to understand how the "prof" works, it climbed like a rocket and never reached the CLB TH automatically. Going through the tutorial again Cheers Fede

Exactly. I was flying level at FL340, but I had inserted in the INIT page FL360. So the engines remained at CL thrust, and the FMS was calculating everything from FL360. Copied and pasted in the Secondary F-plan it worked, I could give it the new levels I wanted, but when I activated it FSX crashed. Assuming this is a novice error I'll try not to make again, how do you behave with step climbs? Where do you insert your next flight level? Is it all automatic? I mean, if in the INIT page I set 360/400 in the FL's will it tell me automatically when I have to climb and set the FMS accordingly? Thanks a lot Cheers

Hi all, I did (well, tried to) my first flight in the MD11(X). Starting C/D, I did everything following the tutorial. I made a mistake and assigned FL360 initial. I couldn't even climb that high, and wanted to keep FL340. But the A/P never switched to CRZ, so I was trying to modify the Cruise altitude to FL340, but I couldn't find out how. I activated the sec FPL and FS crashed :( I'm sure there's a workaround. How can I change the FL in the FMS? This should work also for cruise climb, unless there's another way I haven't found out yet. Thanks Fede

Why don't you install the demo and see it yourself on your system? I guess the demo has full functions and is just time limited. New options are added every day or so, videos can become old quickly Cheers

Yeah, the MD11...I didn't want to put it on the list, but it was already It's just that I rarely fly long hauls (same problem I'd have with 767). As far as I know the MD11 has the same level of complexity of the NGX hasn't it? It's older I know, but I see people are still enjoying it quite a lot. And no, I haven't got the original Airbus X, too simple to my tastes. It seems this one is more...extended But tell me, apart from the TOD wrong (which hopefully will be fixed, I presume), how does it behave with the A/P. I read of 6000 fpm descents and climbs. Wrong turns with LNAV, too. And extremely low FPS when Aerosoft claimed it was fantastic on performance. Does it come with any charts? I mean, can you preplan with papers in hand? Or do you have to hope the runway will be long enough..? I'd like an A320 so bad, but still there's something which prevents me from buying (and if FSL released its one in January, well, you know...). Is it so old looking the 767? I have OPUS, thanks One of the best purchases I made this year. I don't fly VMC anymore LOL. Does the A300 come with charts too? I can't tell by the site, and Mutley's says the documentation is a bit poor. Noted your comments on the DC9, thanks. But I never fly online, so that wouldn't be a problem. Dear colleagues, Christmas is round the corner, so I have a list of possible new entries in my V-hangar. Apart from the QW Avro, which I'm surely buying, I have my eyes on these: Airbus X Extended LevelD 767 Simcheck A300 (just noticed the future FMC upgrade) Coolsky DC9 I know the 767 is quite old now, but it still seems a very nice done aircraft; besides I've never heard anyone complaining about it, so... I love the Airbus, but found previous versions too buggy even to think of buying them. Now, is this A320 really good? I'm reading on Aerosoft forums and see that many people are reporting problems with VNAV and LNAV. I see there's no failure sytem, too. But systems are modelled afaik...aren't they? And FBW seems good. I'm waiting for the FSL one, but who knows if it gets released before 2013 Christmas maybe... Talking about Airbus I found the Simcheck A300, read Mutley's hangar review about it, seems a good one. Given the update planned (which seems close) this seems a good choice too. Coolsky, I heard a lot about it when it was released a few weeks ago, now I don't even read it around anymore. Was that a paper fire..? Please don't tell me buy the NGX: I have it already :lol: Same goes for the J41. This should tell you what I'm looking for, more or less. I don't think you can. The only time you can just choose the runway is when no sids are available. You can try a workaround though. First select any SID's which ends at your first FP waypoint. Once confirmed, go back to DIRECT TO page and click on the waypoint you want to go to. Otherwise you can just leave it complete, fly using HDG on the AP (if you are vectored or VMC) then engage a DCT TO when available. Hope this helps Cheers Fede

If you play with the JS41 settings, as William said, and maybe lower some sliders a notch in FSX you'll surely get 30 FPS. I can run it well on my system which is half of yours, so... Cheers

I sometimes have the same problem from dollar to euro, though not so much as you say. If you read the little lines below the transaction there might written why the fee is applied and how... Does the product deserve 44$ price at least? Cheers
