AMD 945

Well I just bit the bullet and brought it. Cant complain. Although id would say your be better off with the 955 for 2 reasons, its 3.2 gig and is a black edition, the multiplier is unlocked, the 945 has a locked multiplier at 15X. It can still be overclocked, but i have mine in a am2+ socket with a 940 bios, it works ok, ids it correctly but i have limited vcore Volt adjustments. Would love to see it runing at 3.2 gig and even 3.4 which is only a fsb of 226 meg. Well ill play a little later. If anyone gets it and it wont boot, it id the vcore at 1v i had to nudge it up by 0.05 volts, now is stable. It hasnt improved my frame rates, but now in YSSY with heaps of traffic, and my ozx scenery, i can fly, have planes landing and taking off, with no stutters or glitching, smooth as silk, that why i bought it.Cheers
