Wow FSX 10

Featured Replies

I bought FSX 10 around 2 years ago and because I really could not get it to run on my AMD 4000 cpu geforce 8800 GTS machine no matter what I did. I put it away and went back to FS 9I was going to upgrade around oct. of this year to a new AMD quad machine. Still am, but I found a little $250 refub job that had a intel E7300 in it with windows Vista and 3gb of ram. It came today so I changed my Geforce 8800 over into it overclocked the E7000 to 3ghz and fired up FSX 10 went to Seattle airport like the default in FS 9 cranked up the settings and my jaw dropped 30+ fps from take off to landing no bluries with the old machine I never got above 15 fps and always blured scenery. I'm really happy now that really so little money spent has given me a great little computer to fly FSX 10 on. Just thought I would let anybody know that may still be stuck with an old AMD setup like ime that for around 200 to 300 hundred bucks you can discover FSX 10 again and enjoy it.

That's great! You got a heck of a deal! Now start throwing some addons at it like A2A Simulations' Accu-sim line :( To be pedantic, the "X" in "FSX" is roman numeral for 10.
