What happened to Omwings?

Featured Replies

I have been searching the web for the Omwings L-1011 Tristar panel, but it looks as though Omwings went out of business or something. I can't get onto their website, and with that I can't get the panel I want. Anybody have any idea what happened to Onwings lately? If anybody has the Tristar panel by Omwings, maybe you could zip it up and send it to me over the email? Don't worry about legal stuff, the panel has been released as freeware.

You sure? This is the package I'm reviewing right now for AVSIM, and it seems to me Aerosim made it themselves. The Omwings panel is supposed to be, from hear-say, quite advanced. Aerosim's panel is not, except for the FMS, which is a very clever piece of software. Plus, in the AVSIM file library, there isa file that would enable a merge between Aerosim's panel and the Omwings panel possible, signifying that it's not the same thing. Thanks for the input, though.

Hi,It is not Omwings panel in Aerosims package. The panel developer, Oliver Moser, was part of the L1011 project. But he released the panel as a stand alone Omwings project. However, it now seams that his site is not available. I know it was there not long ago though. Maybe it is only temporarily. :(
