I don't believe the story. If nothing else, flight attendants rarely know and certainly wouldn't care whether someone had been upgraded to first as opposed to paying full price.

Hello,Very strange indeed ...In my other RL I was a very frequent flyer .. and was lucky to get twice first class upgrade.KLM and defunct VarigNever seen any thing special with the services provided.Same as for my numerous business class upgrades.But I have also seen sometime strange F.A behaviour ...
