Colours of smoke...

Featured Replies

Hi there,Is there an easy way to change the colour of the effects smoke? I would love to have my aerobatic A/C trailing red or blue smoke...Thanks!

This is from the easter egg file. I haven't tried it myself.RED SMOKE: Edit the Extra 300 Aircraft.CFG file and find the following line.[sMOKESYSTEM]smoke.0=0.00, -0.70, 1.40, fx_smoke_wAdd the following: smoke.1=0.00, 1.00, -9.00, fx_smoke_rSo it now looks like this.[sMOKESYSTEM]smoke.0=0.00, -0.70, 1.40, fx_smoke_wsmoke.1=0.00, 1.00, -9.00, fx_smoke_r-----------------------------------------------------------------------SMOKE: you can add following lines to any Aircraft.cfg to add smoke.[sMOKESYSTEM]smoke.0=0.00, -0.70, 1.40, fx_smoke_wAnd sheck out Chris Trotter's effects. Tons of stuff here http://www.geocities.com/chris20005649/

Hmm, here is another interesting question. Seeing that you can change the color of smoke and position it anywhere, anyone have any ideas on using this to create the heat exhaust from the engines? It would have to be clear or at least a transparent shade of grey. This effect could then be placed at the rear of each engine and you could make the size (length) small to simulate the real thing. I have been looking into this but have been unable to come up with a suitable color if you will.Anyone have any ideas or has anyone toyed with this at all? Thanks,Mark
