Dolphin Stadium is there, just north of KMIA.The Florida Marlins also play there and MS decided it looked better as a baseball stadium. The Orange Bowl (University of Miami Hurricanes) is also there, ESE of KMIA. I haven't flown around it recently and I don't recall exactly what the logo is.
  2. It's EditVoicePack. I'm sure it's in the library.
  3. Very kind of you, Bryan. I'm not interested but it's a kind offer nevertheless.

Remember it? I played it just last weekend.I cried when I had to get my rid of my C-64 but rejoiced when I found the VICE emulator and abandonware.

If I understand you correctly you want to alias the Boeing panel to the Airbus aircraft.I couldn't find anything about aliasing here in AVSim but this explains aliasing - very simple, really.http://www.simviation.com/lair/aliasing1.htmEdit: that looks like it's designed more for FS98/00 but the principle is the same for FS02 and 04. This is a panel.cfg for a 737-700 that is aliased to my default 737-400:(fltsim)alias=B737_400panelYou can probably find a couple of default aircraft that are already aliased to other panels but that's pretty much all there is to it.
  6. This one is for FS02. I have never seen one for FS04.http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Search...=root&Go=Search
  7. David -Can you give me an idea how to configure this? I'm already running WideServer on my desktop and WideClient on my laptop with FreeFD, so I know they both work.Do I just need to run WideServer on the desktop and MyFSGE (without WideClient)on the laptop then make sure the IP's match and switch WS's protocol to TCP/IP?
  8. Not as far as I can see. It works fine for me with FS2002 .pln's.Thanks.
  9. You probably saved your default flight in that configuration. To fix it:Start the sim and put the parking brake on - you don't want to be rolling down the runway while you adjust things.Turn off the autopilot, FD, etc.Save the flight then make it your default flight.

I think you are looking for FSAutostart http://www.kensalter.com/fsautostart/
  11. If you don't want the sim to reset what would you want it to do - show your aircraft as a burning hulk? Show it plowing through a skyscraper?IIRC FS00 and earlier showed aircraft plowing into and partially through skyscrapers, modified in later versions for obvious political reasons.

I use WideFS with FS2002 and FreeFD to display a glass cockpit on a second computer. Since it's free for FS02 I couldn't tell you whether it's worth the cost but I don't use it as much as I thought I would.I can't see how it could possibly improve performance. If anything having an extra module running degrades it. I have written a script to disable it when it's not in use.
  13. Let's just post this as many places as possiblehttp://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaB...1041026;start=0
  14. This isn't really the place for it but my view of the "Podcast Revolution" is 1,000,000 channels and nothing to listen to. With one exception.
  15. Finally, a podcast worth listening to.
  16. According to the FSNavigator forums this is not possible because FSN needs FS running on the same computer http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?...2151b271f46c43cIf someone finds a way around this, like maybe running a reduced overhead version of FS, I would be very happy to hear it. I suspect, though, that many have tried and none have succeeded.

See question 6 here http://www.hesimpanels.com/My_Homepage_Files/Page1.htmlAs far as I know that is the only fix.
  18. Thanks. If found FreeFD but, as you mentioned, the downloads have been offline since at least January. I'll check the p2p networks.I got OpenGC installed and working but, contrary to the screenshot evidence, the only functional gauge is the PFD.
  19. Sorry. My first response should have been more concise.
  20. ATC is right. "Resume own navigation" means follow you flight plan.
  21. Thanks,Project Magenta was cost prohibitive, especially as I wish to install this application as a "just for fun" thing. I don't want or need the client (laptop) computer to have any input on the server computer, I just want it to show some major gauges functions - sort of like a minipanel but I could leave the server (desktop) computer free to explore alternate views while monitoring major functions on the client.I'm surprised this type of application has not been explored in more depth.
  22. Does anyone have any experience with these? I have a desktop and a laptop computer connected over a wireless 802.11g network, identical FS2002 installations, and I'd like to put a glass cockpit on the laptop. I thought WideFS would do this but it is apparently only a communications program and requires additional software to display the gauges. I'm looking at OpenGC http://www.opengc.org/index.html as my best bet - the price is right and the screenshots look pretty good. The drawbacks are that it uses the X-Plane Nav Database, and it seems a little out of date and possibly unsupported.
  23. Have you heard that MS just sold the Links (Golf) game?I think if we assume the worst, that MS is going to get out of the FS business, it will sell the code and the rights to another developer.
  24. Generally, yes. If the panel was made for FS2002 you will have to modify panel.cfg so that it uses the FS2004 GPS gauge.
